This Church in Mount Vernon, Washington was built in the early 1900s and is now a Wedding chaple, a coffee/cinnamon shop and a home. It is still beautiful. MB
I saw this little church tucked away off the road on my way to Marblemount, Wa. heading for the North Cascades Highway. I don't know the history of this little beauty but I know it is special.
This is St Mary's Catholic church in High Hill. It is built on nine acres deeded to the church in 1868. It is a classic example of the Gothic revival style with its beautiful artwork and stained glass windows. The churches and there about 15 are painted bt itinerant laborers and the colors are as vivid today as they were over 100 years ago.
