Wailea Chapel , Maui

I saw this Picture on Naturalmoms blog. It is a picture Thomas Kincade painted when he saw the Chapel When he was in Maui. Naturalmom allowed me to go ahead and post the picture. Also is a photo of a window in the chapel

What a fun idea! I'm visiting through Vanessa's site.

My hubby and I visited a tiny little church on our honeymoon in Hanalei, Kauai called Wailoi Hui`ia Church (built in 1834). Our visit was before the days of digitals, but I kept a postcard in my picture album...

Anyhow, I'll never forget what happened while walking down one of Hanalei's north shore streets. A handsome young guy, probably barely twenty, (we were older newlyweds - me twenty-seven, my hubby 32),greeted us, invited us to a tent revival meeting (we couldn't go because we were leaving the island soon), then handed us a tract. I said, "Oh, thank you, but you can keep it, we're believers. We know Jesus all ready."

You know what he said? (Smiling) "No, you keep it and give it to someone else." Wow - was I convicted. There's no "vacation" from witnessing for the Lord!

A few days later while hiking the Na Pali coast, we stopped and spoke with someone and gave them the Bible tract.

Enough for now, I can be a bit "long winded"!

BTW-I go to a little church in Philadelphia, PA. It was built in 1873. I'll have to get a digital pic and send it. Our new church website (still under construction) is www.bereanbiblephilly.org

Blessings!
